How to use the Gutmann standard compliant feature
of Shredit X

In the preferences, enable the Gutmann feature.
From the “ShredIt X” menu, select “Preferences” and click on the "Settings" tab. From the menu, change the number of overwrites to "35". For further information, refer to the "How to Install ShredIt X" section of the ShredIt X ReadMe (pdf)
