How to have NetShred X start itself
NetShred X for Mac OS X Internet Track Eraser
You have NetShred X for Mac OS X start itself so you don't have to remember to do it. It can then automatically erase internet tracks when you quit from your browser or email program.

In NetShred X Preferences Control Tab, turn "Confirm Shredding" Off, turn "Hide After Shredding" On, turn "Browser Watch" On.

Configure NetShred X as a Login Item.
Running under OS X 10.2 or earlier
- From the Dock, select System Preferences and select “Login”.
- Select the “Login Items” Dialog Box.
- Drag the NetShred X icon into the “These items will open automatically when you login” list, and click the “Hide” checkbox.
Running under OS X 10.3
- From the Dock, select System Preferences and select “Accounts”.
- Select the “Startup Items” tab.
- Drag the NetShred X icon into the “StartUp Items” window and click the “Hide” checkbox.
Running under OS X 10.4 or later
- From the Dock, select System Preferences and select “Accounts”.
- Select the “Login Items” tab.
- Drag the NetShred X icon into the “Login Items” window and click the “Hide” check.

NetShred X will now automatically restart itself when you start up your computer and will automatically erase internet tracks when you quit from your browser or email program.
