How to play a Photo VCD
using MacVCD X
Mac OS X Video Media Player

Requirements

  • MacVCD X Video Media Player
  • a Photo VCD or XVCD or a Photo VCD image on your computer


Instructions

1.

To run MacVCD X, double click the MacVCD X icon.

2. If you have not already done so, open the Preferences and select the item titled "ShowSegment Items".

Insert a VCD or XVCD into the CD drive. It will play automatically.

If the VCD does not play automatically, click the play button. (refer to the MacVCDX Read Me (pdf))

To play a VCD that's stored on a hard drive, from the Menu, use File>Open, navigate to the MPEGAV file and click the Open button.


4. If the VCD does not play automatically (like if it's stored on a hard drive), click the Play button. For information about controls, refer to the MacVCDX Read Me (pdf)

MacVCD X will play through all the photos. To play one, select it from the Track menu.
