How to save a VCD on your Mac
with MacVCD X
Mac OS X Video Media Player
MacVCD X allows you to save a VCD to your Mac. Playing VCDs uses more power than playing movies from your hard drive, so if you're going a a long plane ride, save your VCDs to disk so you won't run out of battery before the plane touches down. Saving a movie to your hard drive takes up alot of disk space, but you won't need the original VCD to play the movie.
