How to burn a DVD-Audio
on Mac OS X using Music Man
Use this procedure to burn DVD-Audio from MP3, AAC, Ogg, WAV, WMA, Midi or AIFF.
- When recording an DVD-Audio, you can get approximately 2 hours of music on a DVD
- For more information about what Music Man can burn, see the table below
Note: Music Man is not intended for studio or professional DVD-Audio production.
- non-WAV files will be converted to 44.1 khz / 16 bit audio
- WAV files with sample rates other than 16 or 24 bit will be converted to 44.1 khz / 16 bit audio
- WAV files with sample rates of 16 bit or 24 bit are supported up to 192 khz.
To use DVD-A with high sample rates, use WAV files with 24 bit and up to a maximum of 192 khz.
Try the software in demo mode prior to purchase to ensure the produced DVD-A is acceptable. If you require a higher sample rate for your DVD-Audio, choose a professional level DVD-Authoring product.

Requirements
- Music Man
- Music Files in AAC, M4A, M4B, MP3, Ogg, WAV, WMA, Midi or AIFF format
- a DVD-R, DVD+R, or DVD-RW

Instructions

Click the Music Man Burn Tab.

Select the files you want to burn. For further information, refer to the Music Man Read Me (pdf)

From the Music Format popup, select "Burn DVD-Audio".

Click the Burn Button
Note:
If you are re-using a DVD-RW, click the Erase button to ensure you have erased the current contents of the DVD and THEN click the burn button.
