How to burn an Audio CD
on Mac OS X using Music Man

When recording an Audio CD, you can get approximately 1 hour of music on a CD

• Music Files in MP3, AAC, Ogg, WAV, WMA, Midi or AIFF format

From the Music Format popup, select "Burn Audio CD".

Notes

• A CD is limited to around 80 minutes of music and 99 tracks.  It's not 100% accurate because there is some overhead and the conversion from compressed music to uncompressed music results in an unknown space requirement. If you put too much music on a disk and burn it, the disk will be unusable.  If you limit your CDs to 60 minutes or less, you shouldn't have a problem.
  
  
• Money Saving Tip: Test with a CDRW to make sure the music fits and that the CD is the way you want it. Once the CD-RW is correct, then burn the final project to a CD-R. You can then erase the CD-RW and use it again as a master for your next project.
  
  
• Stress Saving Tip: If you're going to play your Audio CD on a CD player, car stereo or if you are responsible for bringing all the music to your brother's wedding, read this carefully. Not all CD players will play burned CDs (CD-R, CD-RW), especially the older ones. That's because although they all look the same to you, they're not all the same to your hardware. Make a test CD with just a few songs on it, and get it to play on your hardware to verify it will play. Once you've got it working, then continue with your project.
