MacVCD X Video Player for Mac OS X

Besides playing VCD, MacVCD X plays almost everything else including SVCD*, XSVCD*, XVCD, MPEG1, MPEG2*, MPEG4, AVI*, DivX*, XviD*, WMV*, Quicktime Movie (.mov) and DV.



MacVCD X will play:

To run MacVCD X you need:

  • Macintosh™ PowerPC G3 or later or an Intel Mac (MacIntel)
  • Mac OS X® 10.1 or later (We recommend 10.1.5 for better playback on older machines)
  • MacVCD X is Mac OS X® 10.5 Leopard compatible
  • QuickTime® 5 or later (We recommend Quicktime 6 or later for improved MPEG playback).

    To use the "hands free" feature, you need:

    • Macintosh™ PowerPC G3/300 mhz or faster
